Maple, Vanilla and Peanut Bakes

They are very light and a great snack with a cup or coffee or even better, an ideal partner to a Boditronics protein shake for breakfast.

Because they contain oats, they will also keep you feeling fuller for longer.

You will need:

• Food processer (we used a nutri bullet)
• Mixing bowl
• Spatula
• Tbs
• Baking tray
• Baking paper

Nutrition (per bake):

• Calories – 130cal
• Protein – 13g
• Carbohydrate – 10g
• Fat 3g

Ingredients:

• 100g oats
• 75g Boditronics Vanilla Express Whey/ Express Whey Anabolic or Diet Whey
• 1 x egg white
• 100ml skimmed milk
• ¼ spoon of baking powder
• 1 tbs sweetener
• 20g crunchy peanut butter
• 1tbs maple syrup
• ½ tsp of vanilla essence
• 25ml of water

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
2. Put 50g of oats into the food processer with 75g Boditronics vanilla Protein and blend
3. Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl
4. Add the 1 egg white,100ml of skimmed milk, peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla essence
5. Mix together using a spatula (you will need a spatula as this bit it sticky)
6. Place the remaing 50g pf oats in a separate microwaveable bowl and add 25ml water
7. Place in the microwave for 25sec on high so that the oats absorb the water
8. Now put the rest of the oats and the baking powder in to the mixture
9. Mix until all is combined
10. Place the baking paper on the baking tray and spoon the mixture on to the tray in 6 even portions (roughly 60g each)
11. Place in the oven for 10mins
12. Remove from oven and leave to cool (or if  like us, you can't wait and eat one straight out of the oven ....be very careful not to burn the roof of your mouth!
13. Enjoy
